Welcome to The Jeffers Inn

The Jeffers Inn is located in the heart of the beautiful Madison Valley, just one mile from Ennis Montana and within walking distance of O’Dell Creek and the Madison River.

The Inn is located on an historic estate build, owned and farmed by the Jeffers Pioneer Family.  This original historic home, built in 1900 has been lovingly renovated to again capture the home’s turn of the century appearance.  The Inn has all the charm of historic Montana, but includes the comforts of our modern age.

From the moment you see The Jeffers Inn from the road you know you have found a very special Bed and Breakfast.  Surrounded by large ranches and wildlife easements, this historic landmark is happily situated within a grove of century old Silver Cottonwood trees.  These towering shade trees help to enhance the cool and quiet setting that will welcome you in from your Montana adventures.

The Jeffers Inn is a haven of comfort and relaxation where the active sportsman or weary traveler can unwind and partake in some good old-fashioned Western hospitality.  A Full breakfast is served each morning, with evening drinks and snacks offered during check-in time, between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.  When you return from dinner in town … desert will be waiting for you to enjoy on our lovely stone patio or in your room.

The Jeffers Inn Is Open Every Day From

May 15th through October 31st

The Jeffers Inn offers an exceptional Ennis vacation experience.  Just footsteps away are Odell Creek and the Madison River with the world class fly fishing this area of the west is so famous for.

Often called the “Fly Fishing Capital of the World” the town of Ennis will be the starting point for all your activities on the Madison River.  This “good-time” western town has good restaurants, bars, fly shops, antiques shops, art galleries, specialty shops, churches, realtors and fuel filling stations.  The town is full of cowboys, anglers and outdoor recreationists. The Western flavor is for real here as the area ranchlands are still very much cattle country.  There’s plenty of action along Ennis’s boardwalks in the summer and fall hunting seasons.

The Madison River
is what this valley is all about, but the local area is also filled with attractions far beyond the joys of fly fishing.  Just 14 miles from Ennis is the 1860’s mining towns of Virginia City and Nevada City. These ghost towns with their living history activities bring history to life all summer long.

There is fun for the whole family in a friendly, fun-filled, Western atmosphere!  This part of the world has so much to offer. From the scenic natural beauty of Yellowstone National Park (one hour away) and Lewis & Clark Caverns (another great day trip) to the World-Class Fly-fishing on the Madison River (less than 1/2 a mile from our Inn). Virginia City and Nevada City are only 14 miles west.

It is time for you to come and enjoy the good life in Montana!! We want to extend a personal invitation to you to add the hospitality of The Jeffers Inn to your adventure.

You will arrive a guest …
and leave a friend.

When you are ready to make your visiting plans, give us a call and make your reservations. A full Breakfast is included each morning. Also Included with your room cost are evening drinks and snacks and dessert.
